Home Risk Assessments - What can you expect?
During this professional, independent and private evaluation of your home, you will work directly with a Hawkeye Resilience Advisor to assess your residence, outbuildings, and property. We will address your specific concerns while evaluating risks specific to your area and identifying vulnerabilities that may need to be addressed. At the end of the evaluation, you will have a better understanding of your home’s security and resilience capabilities as well as expert recommendations tailored to your lifestyle and the peace of mind you desire. The average time on site is between 3 - 4 hours, depending on the size of the home and property. The homeowner need not be available during this entire period and we will coordinate times that are convenient for you.
During your private security evaluation, we will complete the following for you:
Review of previous suspicious activity, incidents, and typical uses of the home and property.
Complete risk and vulnerability analysis of the exterior of your home and the property directly surrounding it.
Thorough examination of the interior and components of your home that focus on the safety and security of its occupants and assets.
Review of current security solutions and life-safety evacuation plans.
Dedicated time for all occupants to ask questions regarding the security of the home as well as their lifestyle (e.g. travel, events, online presence).
An initial briefing of the findings and recommendations based on the assessment and interviews.
A formal Home Security Assessment Report will be provided to you following the on-site assessment for documentation and future reference. This report will include prioritized recommendations based on the following:
Critical vulnerabilities - items that should have immediate action taken as they pose an imminent risk to the house or its occupants.
Priority vulnerabilities - items that should be implemented over the next several months to improve the overall security of the home and property.
Routine vulnerabilities - items that should be addressed when the resources are available or can be consolidated into other planned works in or around the house and property.
After you have had an opportunity to review the report, Hawkeye Resilience is available to assist in implementing the recommendations provided from equipment installation to emergency and crisis planning. We specialize in designing security solutions that incorporate into the existing systems and styles of the home. Hawkeye Resilience will assist in identifying the appropriate technology, contractor identification and proposal reviews, plus management of its installation and testing.
